The Picasso ceramic numbered A.R. 303, titled "Vase with Bunch", is a white earthenware ceramic plate created in 1956 at the Madoura pottery studio in Vallauris, France.
Measuring approximately 9¾ inches (24.9 cm) in diameter, the plate features a stylized depiction of a vase filled with a bouquet of flowers. The design is executed using black oxide and colored engobe, with a glaze finish that enhances the contrast and depth of the imagery.
"Vase with Bunch" was produced in a limited edition of 300, with each piece stamped ‘Madoura Plein Feu’ and ‘Empreinte Originale de Picasso’ on the underside, authenticating its origin.
This is object 33 of 300, so a very early version.
